At the Fennec, we are seeking an energetic and well-organized Events Associate to provide support to our Events Sales Manager. This role will assist the banquet sales manager with management of prospective and existing customers.
Events Associate Responsibilities:
- Conduct events tours with prospective customers
- Review contract details with Events Management for accuracy
- Assist in following up with prospects and recording information in Events Management Software.
- Support on-site event operations, attendee assistance, and customer support.
- Assist Marketing with photographing certain events.
- Communicate with clients as directed by Events Management, vendors, and sponsors to ensure events questions are answered
- Track budgets, timelines, and milestones.
- Help with marketing initiatives and content creation to promote events.
- Assist in the creation of Marketing campaigns, social media posts, and public relations.
- Provide administrative support to the events team as needed.
Events Associate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or events sales a plus
- Exceptional ability to plan and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, sales, and communication skills.
- Ability to work occasional nights and/or weekends
